About Our Flower Shop
Welcome to Allen's Flowers & Plants. Pictured above is Brad and Max Levy. We have been the preferred florist for people in San Diego staple for more than 38 years! Allen's Flowers has come along way over the past 38 years. Our original owner, Max Levy, started the initial flower shop operation, by selling flowers from the back of an old station wagon. He would drive to some of the busier areas of downtown San Diego, La Mesa and El Cajon and park along the roadside. Then sell the beautiful farm fresh flowers, plants and gifts he had to offer.
Things have really evolved for our business. Today, Brad Levy, son of Max and Marilyn Levy, is now running the 4 flower shops we operate in San Diego County. Our firm has grown into one of Southern California's premier flower shops and design studios, with four locations throughout San Diego county. We are family owned and operated and proud to support our local community by sourcing as much of our product as possible - including flowers, plants, cards, candles, chocolates and more - from other San Diego and California companies.
