The Monochromatic Collection is a striking exploration of single-color design. Each set includes a small arrangement in a 6"x4" Hobnail Vase (a designer spin on the classic jar), a tall bud vase, and a short bud vase, all celebrating a singular hue—blue, red, yellow, orange, green, or purple—layered with tonal variation and rich texture for a look that is modern, curated, and full of personality.

Allen's Flowers & Plants' Monochromatic Collection brings this contemporary aesthetic to San Diego, designed at our Linda Vista studio and hand-delivered across the county.

Why monochromatic: Single-color arrangements read as more considered, more modern, and more architectural than traditional mixed bouquets. They pair especially well with contemporary homes, minimalist interiors, and curated gifting moments where design matters as much as the gesture. Monochromatic designs also photograph exceptionally well — which is part of why they have become a popular choice for weddings, corporate events, and high-end social events over the past decade.
Color palettes in the collection: All-white (roses, hydrangea, lisianthus, orchids, tulips — the most requested, and appropriate for weddings, sympathy, and elegant gifting), all-pink (ranging from soft blush to deep magenta), all-red (roses, carnations, dahlias — bold and romantic), all-yellow (sunflowers, roses, tulips, craspedia — cheerful and warm), and all-purple or all-lavender (roses, lisianthus, scabiosa — refined and unusual).
